Tolmeijer and Desimpel are no strangers as they both own a 50% share in the nearby Apollo Arthotel Bruges, where the new General Manager of the Thermae Palace originates from. “The intention is to get the complex to the top in three phases: in 2010 the public areas and the f&b outlets will be given an optical facelift. This first year will also be used to further develop our conceptual vision. Secondly we will focus on the hotel and the conference facilities. Horse races have been held at the hippodrome for the past 125 years. At present races are suspended due to renovation work being carried out on the tribune. It is expected that at the end of 2011 activities will recommence in the totally revamped events hall. Back |
